History and Design

The current building was opened in 2002 and the design takes inspiration from paintings of Angus stackyards by the eminent landscape artist James McIntosh Patrick.

In 1929 the original Hall was managed by a Men’s Social Club for residents in the local area until it was disbanded in 1961 and local residents formed Fowlis Easter Hall Committee.
