Covid Update

The Hall Committee trust that you are all well and managing in this evolving coronavirus pandemic.

As you know Fowlis Hall has been closed following the Spring Fayre on 16th March 2020 and at the time of writing no sign of a reopening date.

However, we are reviewing the actions necessary to control the risks to comply with current Government guidelines to ensure a safe venue for everyone when the hall is reopened.

Like many other our income collapsed when we had to close the Hall, but we have managed to apply for and receive a grant from the Business Support Fund/Scottish Government that will allow us to carry out the necessary changes to the building and the fixutres.

When it becomes apparent that Government legislation will allow the reopening of the Hall and have agreed all the necessary improvements, we can engage contractors for the required modifications.

We anticipate modifications will be necessary within the kitchen, toilets, vestibule and main hall.
